New England Patriots Player Antonio Brown Denies Rape Accusations Will NFL Suspend Him To Invest
New England Patriots player Antonio Brown denies the rape accusations made against him by his former trainer.
Britney Taylor has accused the wide receiver of sexual assault, including forcible rape, in a lawsuit she filed South District of Florida on Tuesday. Brown released a statement via his lawyer denying all accusations against him.
“Mr. Brown denies each and every allegation in the lawsuit. He will pursue all legal remedies to not only clear his name, but to also protect other professional athletes against false accusations.” his attorney, Darren Heitner, said in a statement to E! News.
Taylor and Brown met in college but lost touch for years until he reportedly reached out to her via Facebook. The lawsuit states the NFL player asked Taylor to help him improve his flexibility, ankle strength, and fast-twitch muscles.

After agreeing to be his trainer, Taylor would fly to Pittsburgh and Florida, where Brown lived and trained to help him get into shape. She counts several instances of sexual misconduct in her lawsuit, including him masturbating on her back, exposing himself to her and forcibly kissing her without her consent.
The personal trainer also accuses Brown of rape in the lawsuit, detailing a night he shoved her face into a mattress and raped her. Taylor insists in the court documents obtained by TMZ that she tried to fight him off, but he was too strong.
A statement from the New England Patriots was released once news of the lawsuit against Brown broke.
“We are aware of the civil lawsuit that was filed earlier today against Antonio Brown, as well as the response by Antonio’s representatives. We take these allegations very seriously. Under no circumstance does this organization condone sexual violence or assault. The league has informed us that they will be investigating. We will have no further comment while that investigation takes place,” read the official team statement.

The NFL is reportedly meeting today to discuss what, if any, action should be taken against Brown as the league and police investigate further. Both the NFL and the New England Patriots stated they knew nothing of the allegations until the story was released in the media.
Antonio Brown is being accused of rape, sexual misconduct, and assault by his former personal trainer Britney Taylor. She cites several instances in her lawsuit but he is denying all accusations against him. It is going to be he said vs. she said unless one of them can prove otherwise.
