Meghan Markle expected to make big announcement as she seeks to change the record
Meghan Markle has been in the press recently due to the supposed breakdown of her marriage with Prince Harry, but she could soon send the press on a totally different path.
The American is set to make a huge announcement about her next professional endeavour which will cause a lot of debate.
She will be turning 42 years old this week and the announcement could come on her actual birthday, and a royal commentator believes that she may surprise fans.
Markle and Harry recently left Spotify after they had launched their Archetypes podcast through the streaming platform, so there is scope for more career changes.
Royal commentator, Richard Fitzwilliams, has explained to OK! Magazine what he thinks about Meghan and her next move.
"[Meghan] might well announce her next move on her birthday. But otherwise we'll have to wait and see what her new agent comes up with. Don't forget the Sussexes do have a habit of surprising us," he said.
Markle struggling for new work
The ending of the relationship with Spotify is not the only disappointment for Markle recently in a professional sense.
The Netflix docuseries that they made, which contained sensational revelations about the royal family and their personal lives, did not receive a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
Acquiring other projects is said to be getting tough for the couple due to the writer's strike in the USA right now.
Meghan signed with talent agency William Morris Endeavor (WME) in April. Following news of her parting ways with Spotify, WME told the Wall Street Journal in June: "[She's] continuing to develop more content for the Archetypes audience on another platform."
